Deliver mail with purpose and pride in your role as an on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier with Canada Post. We're seeking dependable and organized individuals to deliver mail to various communities on an on-call basis.

As an on-call relief employee, you'll work independently and interact with the public in a positive and courteous manner. Your responsibilities will include sorting, collecting, and delivering mail items safely and efficiently. You'll also be responsible for acquiring and maintaining knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project a positive and courteous manner when dealing with customers face-to-face
  • Be adept at sorting, collecting, and delivering mail items in a safe and timely manner
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Ensure mail is safely secured in your possession

Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment test and an interview
  • Provide a current driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days

This position may be considered a Safety Sensitive position, and additional requirements under Canada Post's Substance Use Policy may apply.
