We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and baked goods that meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough and batters: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition materials: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bake and decorate: Bake mixed dough and batters, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Train staff: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Prepare special orders: Prepare special orders for customers.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure quality and cleanliness.
- Operate machinery: Operate machinery as needed.
- Organize inventory: Organize and maintain inventory of baked goods and supplies.
- Oversee sales and merchandising: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work hours: 40 hours per week.
