About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repairer to join our team at 5035424 ONTARIO INC. as a Collision Repair Specialist. As a key member of our body shop team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports and provide accurate quotes to customers.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Plan and execute repair work to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Replace and repair front end components, body components, doors, and frame, as well as underbody components.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Repair or replace interior components to restore the vehicle's original condition.
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a perfect match.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in auto body repair or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
