Mechanical Systems Inspector

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems and installations meet local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Review mechanical plans and specifications to verify they meet all required regulations and technical requirements.
- Identify and document violations, deficiencies, or hazards in mechanical systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, compliance, and enforcement actions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to contractors, engineers, and property owners regarding mechanical codes and safety practices.
- Stay updated on changes in mechanical codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure accurate inspections and recommendations.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Inspection, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a mechanical inspector or in a similar role with a strong understanding of mechanical codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills for assessing mechanical systems and identifying issues.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with contractors, engineers, and municipal officials.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing inspection reports and records.
