We are seeking a Young Nuclear Engineer with expertise in clean energy to join our team at Framatome. This role is an excellent opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact on people's lives and contribute to the future of nuclear technology.
About YouYou have a strong educational background in nuclear engineering, having completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering, and may have also obtained an advanced degree in a similar field. Your technical problem-solving skills, interpersonal abilities, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills will serve you well in this role. With 0-2 years of experience in an engineering role, you have already demonstrated your ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and are registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT). We are looking for someone who is eager to take on new challenges and contribute to our mission to deliver clean, safe energy.
About the OpportunityThis role offers a unique chance to be part of an innovative team that is driving change in the nuclear industry. As an Early Career Nuclear Engineer in Pickering, Ontario, you will be working with a proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your responsibilities will include performing standard engineering assignments in areas such as design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems. You will also have the opportunity to complete field visits to support engineering work development, liaise with clients to ensure solutions meet their needs, and complete engineering deliverables to support plant lifetime operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform standard engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
- Complete field visits to support engineering work development.
- Liaise with clients to ensure solutions meet underlying needs.
- Complete engineering deliverables to support plant lifetime operations including design, construction, testing, commissioning, plant operations, and maintenance.
The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
