Nursing & Homemakers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced dental practice environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job SummaryThe Registered Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, consulting with dentists on treatment plans, supervising dental assistants, and performing various clinical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult with dentists on patient care and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions, ensuring they provide optimal patient care.
- Take accurate dental impressions and perform X-rays as needed.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and apply fluoride treatments to prevent tooth decay.
- Remove stains and deposits from teeth, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for patients.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess:
- Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods, with occasional sitting and walking required.
This is a full-time position, working 35-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
