We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Financial Services Officer. This role will involve administering a suite of student financial assistance programs, including the Yukon Grant, Student Training Allowance, and Canada Student Financial Assistance Loan and Grant Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Administer student financial assistance programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Collect, maintain, analyze, and report data related to student financial assistance.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and policies related to student financial assistance.
- Post-secondary education in office administration, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience administering a regulated, client-based program.
- Experience collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience working in a government or educational institution.
- Knowledge of student financial assistance programs and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
