Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex mathematical calculations and data reconciliations using advanced techniques and tools.
  • Streamline processes and create supporting documentation to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to deliver actuarial programs and support business strategy development.
  • Research actuarial issues, methods, and solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced mathematical, data management, and programming skills.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
  • Well-developed organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven research, analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Completion of a university degree with courses in mathematics, economics, and/or business.
  • Completion of a minimum of one exam through the Society of Actuaries or Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
  • Commitment to attain Associate designation through the Society of Actuaries and/or Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Compensation and Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus program and competitive uncapped commission for sales positions.
