Software Test Engineering Internship

Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Software Test Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the development of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and maintain verification and validation scripts written in Python
  • Deploy and monitor tests in a continuous integration system (Jenkins)
  • Collect and analyze real-world GNSS/INS data
  • Refine functional and performance requirements for validation traceability
  • Document test design, specifications, runs, results, and compliance to requirements
  • Troubleshoot test failures and investigate issues for root cause analysis
  • Participate in process improvement activities
Qualifications
  • Registered in the Computer Science or Engineering Internship/Co-op program and have completed at least your 2nd or 3rd year of studies by the start of your work term
  • Enrolled in Computer Science, Geomatics, Computer Software Engineering or any field related to software development at an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work in an inclusive and collaborative team environment
  • Available for a minimum 12-month work term at our Calgary office location, 37.5 hours a week
  • Strong academic credentials
