4782 Sandvik MIN, CNS - Canada is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to enhance our financial reporting functions and contribute to the implementation of strategic ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Finance and Business Controllers to develop and implement performance management functions.
  2. Assist in performance managing divisions, preparing monthly operational reviews, and consolidating financial forecasts.
  3. Support the analysis and reporting of SG&A spend, cash flows, and CAPEX investments.
  4. Consolidate tax schedules across various divisions and entities.
  5. Review and analyze sales taxes and corporate income taxes.
  6. Research and apply reporting standards and taxation policies to determine appropriate accounting treatments.
  7. Provide business guidance on tax topics.
  8. Support audits from tax authorities.
  9. Prepare the company Pension Plans' financial statements.
  10. Administer the company Pension Plans, including regulatory disclosures.
  11. Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  12. Partner with various departments, divisions, and individuals to optimize our processes and ways of working.
  13. Support the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and other ERP solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance), Mathematics, or Sciences.
  2. Actively pursuing CPA designation is considered an asset.
  3. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is considered an asset.
  4. Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365), proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively present ideas across all organizational levels.
  7. Proven problem-solving skills, including quantitative, conceptual, and analytical capabilities.
  8. Flexible, energetic, and self-motivated mindset, showcasing a genuine eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
