The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and boosting equipment sales through active involvement in the operational process of sales. This role requires supporting consulting engineers in selecting air conditioning, ventilation, and heating equipment, as well as collaborating with the sales team from project inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the HVAC-R industry.
- Visit customers and worksites to promote company products and services.
- Select equipment in design documents and ensure products are specified.
- Conduct presentations and visits with consulting engineers to analyze and qualify projects.
- Promote company equipment and participate in preparing product equivalence tables.
- Act as a leader and coach for the internal support and estimation team.
- Be involved throughout the sales process and submit bids for pre-purchasing equipment.
- Make technical drawings specifying company products when needed.
- Diploma in building mechanics with experience in the HVAC-R field.
- Technical sales experience and a strong contact network in the industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to travel within the specified territory and occasionally to Sudbury offices.
