Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at 102709 PEI INC. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Participate in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to construction plans and specifications.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, following safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and tools.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to environmental regulations.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and attention to detail. You will work in a team setting, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
