Construction Laborer

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada Majhail Construction Ltd. Full time

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Majhail Construction Ltd. as a Site Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, performing routine maintenance work, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Work Site Environment

As a Site Worker, you will be working outdoors, at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You will be required to direct traffic at or near construction sites and assist skilled tradespersons.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

You will have experience with nail guns and hand tools. You will also have the opportunity to work with various types of construction equipment and machinery.

Construction Specialization

We are looking for candidates with experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction, as well as residential construction.

Security and Safety

You will be required to undergo a criminal record check and have a valid driver's license. You will also be required to travel for work and have a vehicle supplied by the employer.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a physically demanding role that requires you to handle heavy loads, work in repetitive tasks, and have attention to detail.

Weight Handling

You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
