Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

About You
  • You have a degree from college, CEGEP or another non-university certificate/diploma from a program lasting 1-2 years.
  • You have at least 1 year but less than 2 years of work experience.

We offer an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of services we should offer and implement operational procedures that meet our customers' needs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure our staff is meeting expectations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed to protect both our staff and customers.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to get the best possible prices.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of our facilities to increase revenue streams.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide excellent customer service to create a positive dining experience.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve our goals.
Computer and Technology Knowledge
  • MS Access: Use this database software to manage our inventory and customer data.
  • MS Excel: Utilize this spreadsheet software to analyze sales data and create reports.
  • MS Office: Familiarity with Microsoft's productivity suite is essential for tasks such as document creation and email management.
  • MS Outlook: Use this email client to communicate with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • MS PowerPoint: Create engaging presentations to showcase our menu items and promotions.
  • MS Windows: Be proficient in using Microsoft's operating system to access our computer systems.
  • MS Word: Use this word processing software to create documents, menus, and other printed materials.
