Financial Officer

Toronto, Ontario, Canada DSW Canada Inc. Full time

As a Financial Officer at DSW Canada Inc., you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and reconciling accounts. You will also be required to post journal entries, prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, and prepare tax returns. Additionally, you will need to keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Your computer and technology skills should include proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Quick Books, and Simply Accounting. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required. You must be able to work independently and have excellent oral and written communication skills. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage your time effectively. You will be working 30 to 35 hours per week in a permanent position with English as the primary language of communication.
