We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Mental Health and Substance Use setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide wholistic, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care to individuals experiencing substance abuse withdrawal.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing individual assessments to develop personalized care plans
- Provide nursing care through appropriate technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions
- Collaborate with individuals, families, and the care team to promote individual-focused care
- Integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve effectively
- Transmit information to instruct individuals and others about topics essential to health care and well-being
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN or RPN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Two years recent, related clinical nursing experience in Mental Health and Substance Use settings
- CPR certification
- Class 5 Driver's License
