We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Supervisor to join our team at Plam Finishing Ltd. as a Construction Painters Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 3-4 workers, including painters and decorators, and labourers.
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
- Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Set up machines and equipment, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Recommend personnel actions and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Work with minimal supervision and lead/instruct individuals as needed.
The successful candidate will work outdoors, in a noisy and dusty environment, at heights, and in confined spaces. They will be required to work in various locations, including construction sites.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Organized, reliable, and a team player with strong values and ethics.
- Punctual and able to work under pressure.
The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
Language and Work TermThe language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
