About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the successful management of stakeholder communications, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project coordination and administrative support to the project team.
- Ensure open lines of communication with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients.
- Review, interpret, and update construction schedules.
- Maintain, review, and follow up on shop drawings, RFI's, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents.
- Collect and analyze project quotes to secure the best prices in the market.
- Own the collection and completion of companywide project reports for assigned projects.
- Promote Pomerleau's HS&E programs, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical and/or Electrical Project Coordinator on two projects with a mechanical/electrical construction value greater than $10,000,000.
- At least one project must be a major renovation of an operational acute health care facility.
- Experience with CSA and certification in the two courses associated with CSA taken after January 1, 2017.
