Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Associate to join our Structured Equities Trading team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with structuring and sales personnel to develop and implement quantitative strategies, as well as provide support in managing trade lifecycle, pricing, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with quantitative modelling, global operations, and market risk teams to ensure effective and efficient downstream reporting capabilities for trading and note issuing activities.
- Develop and maintain databases for sell-side trading, with a focus on equity and fixed income structured products.
- Apply financial engineering concepts, pricing theory, and derivative models to support trading and risk management activities.
- Work closely with trading, sales, and structuring teams to understand and resolve issues, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, calculations, and the work environment.
- Produce business intelligence and risk reports, and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on quantitative analysis and trading.
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or technical area, such as computer science, math, or engineering.
- Advanced programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and numerical methods for optimization problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
