Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Valley District Hospital. The successful candidate will provide compassionate patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the acute care unit
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care

Requirements

• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• Minimum one year of medical/surgical experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and training
• Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification or willingness to complete within 1 year
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
