Job Title: Crew Lead Garden Maintenance

Description:
Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking a skilled Crew Lead to oversee garden maintenance on commercial properties in the Barrie area. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of gardeners and ensuring the highest quality of work. Your expertise in weeding, edging, pruning, and other gardening duties will be essential in maintaining our clients' gardens. Operation of zero-turn mowers and string trimmers is an asset. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive company-paid benefits plan. Hours are full-time, Monday to Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of gardeners to maintain garden beds as required.
  • Remove weeds, cultivate, prune, and identify plant and property issues.
  • Converse with on-site customers regarding their properties.
  • Train and motivate crew members.

Requirements:

2 years or more experience in commercial garden maintenance and a good working knowledge of plant identification is required.

Related education is a plus. An Ontario driver's license class G or G2 is required, along with a clean driver's abstract.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions. It involves walking, lifting up to 40lbs, kneeling, and bending.

Work Conditions:
This position is outdoors in all types of weather. It involves exposure to dirt, grass, and various other plant materials.

Required License Or Certification:
Ontario class G or G2 license
