Job Summary:

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking a skilled Crew Lead to oversee garden maintenance on commercial properties in the Barrie area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a crew of garden maintenance professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect garden beds and identify areas that require attention.
  • Develop and implement plans to maintain and improve garden beds, including pruning, weeding, and mulching.
  • Operate a company vehicle and attend customer properties as required.
  • Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

2 years or more experience in commercial garden maintenance and a good working knowledge of plant identification is required.

Related education is a plus. Ontario drivers license class G or G2 is required along with a clean driver's abstract.

Work Environment:

This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions. It involves walking, lifting up to 40lbs, kneeling, and bending. This position is outdoors in all types of weather. It involves exposure to dirt, grass, and various other plant materials.

Compensation:

Compensation for this position starts at $25/hr.
