Production Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and leading a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production targets.
- Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, identifying and addressing any deficiencies.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of operational management experience.
- Related education (Bachelor of Commerce, leadership education, etc.) is considered an asset.
- Experience within a Unionized environment an asset.
- Machinist Journeyperson Ticket an asset (not required).
- Strong knowledge of Machining processes and setups on Both CNC and Manual Machines an asset.
- Demonstrated process improvement experience.
- Above average process analysis and change management skills.
- Above average communication and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills to facilitate positive culture change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
