Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, to help diagnose and treat patients.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • Registration in good standing with CMRITO required.
  • Must have recent experience in a hospital environment.
  • Must demonstrate competence in scanning abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid doppler, and assisting in interventional procedures.
  • Competence in musculoskeletal, arterial Doppler, trans-rectal, and neuro sonography is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking skills in the assessment of complex pathologies.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

Monday - Sunday, Various rotating 7.5 hours shifts plus on call (subject to change based on operational requirements).

$42.242 - $54.864 per hour.
