Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and small parts. Your expertise in musculoskeletal, neurosonography, vascular imaging, and interventional procedures will be valuable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflow and efficient imaging services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, applying your knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Registration in good standing with CMRITO required.
  • Recent experience in a hospital environment, with a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles and practices.
  • Competence in scanning abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid doppler, and assisting in interventional procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
