CPKC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Work Equipment Maintenance to lead our work equipment maintenance program in Revelstoke, British Columbia. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our work equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintainers to ensure the reliability of work equipment and vehicles
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and CPKC safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in a railway work equipment maintenance environment
  • Journeymen certificate as a heavy-duty mechanic is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to apply relevant knowledge and technical skills to monitor adherence to CPKC policies and standards
  • Rules qualified
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of CPKC systems
