Job Description:

A Trade Support Analyst role is available in the Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) Canada team at Société Générale Assurances. The position involves overseeing trade capture and ensuring prompt, accurate trade booking.

About the Job:

The GBTO Canada team delivers day-to-day services to Société Générale investment and corporate bank units and their clients. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations processing by managing trade activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee deal capture, including trade booking, affirmation, allocation, and modification/cancellation.
  • Manage trade input/modifications/cancellations, monitor DWAC/Corporate Action and booking, and maintain process consistency globally.
  • Resolve Front Office vs. Back Office Trade Breaks, maintain procedure manuals, and respond to Audit and Inspection team requests.
  • Monitor STP processes, perform trade maintenance tasks, confirm trades, and assist with onboarding.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years' experience supporting a Credit or Treasury trading desk. You should also have experience supporting a Treasury Bond trading desk and Interest Rate Derivatives, as well as product exposure including US Treasuries and Agencies, Corporate Bonds, Asset Backed Securities.

You should possess strong interpersonal, communication, and partnering skills, along with the ability to handle various ad-hoc requests in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor's degree in finance or economics is also required.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
