As a Licensed Technician at OpenRoad, you will have the opportunity to work with various OEM brands, including Acura, Audi, BMW, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

The estimated salary for this position is $41.50 per hour, making it an attractive career option for individuals looking to accelerate their careers in the automotive industry.

Some of your key responsibilities as a Licensed Technician will include:

  • Receiving repair orders from dispatch and performing work efficiently and accurately
  • Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Communicating with parts departments to obtain needed parts

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
  • Advise Service Advisors immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
  • Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Canadian driver's license and the ability to provide a driver's abstract for review
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to maintain optimal customer satisfaction
  • A highly self-motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills
