Crane Repairer Role

Premform is seeking a skilled Crane Repairer to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance. As a Crane Repairer, you will work outdoors in a dusty, noisy environment, assembling, erecting, and dismantling cranes, as well as repairing hydraulic-operated working attachments. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 37.5 hour workweek, offering a comprehensive benefits package, including a health care plan, group insurance benefits, and a pension plan. If you possess a secondary school graduation certificate, have 2-3 years of experience in a related field, and are proficient in English, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Report any malfunctions to supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service
