Job Opportunity in Engineering Business and Entrepreneurship

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a teaching stream appointment in the area of engineering business and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will have expertise in business and/or entrepreneurship and a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses within our Business Minor and Entrepreneurship Certificate programs
  • Support the integration of business and entrepreneurship across our undergraduate and graduate curricula
  • Pursue scholarship related to the instruction of business and entrepreneurship and the application of business and entrepreneurship in engineering practice
Requirements
  • PhD in marketing, strategy management, entrepreneurship, engineering, engineering education, or a related field
  • Teaching experience within an undergraduate engineering program
  • Record of leading technology-based companies
  • Eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
Desirable Qualifications
  • Strong record of starting, managing, or leadership in technology-based companies
  • Commitment to innovative teaching and engagement in the scholarship of teaching and learning
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
