About the Opportunity:
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Employment Facilitators to join our team. As an Employment Facilitator, you will work closely with individuals, staff, and stakeholders to provide personalized employment support and guidance. Your role will involve:

  • Assisting individuals in identifying and pursuing their career aspirations
  • Developing and implementing employment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful employment outcomes
  • Collaborating with staff and stakeholders to promote inclusive employment practices

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience, education, or training in the Disability Sector (an asset)
  • Core Competencies: Advocacy, building relationships, championing change and innovation, facilitating growth and development, inclusive leadership, problem-solving and decision-making, resilience, resource management, strategic thinking, valuing EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion)
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and good character
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Additional Information:
Please note that this position is open until filled. A valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to a vehicle are required. A clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector document are also necessary. Hours of work are 80 hours bi-weekly, Monday to Friday (08:00am-04:00pm). The working environment is 100% on-site.
