Project Coordinator Job Description

At DMC Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to support our sales team and project management team in delivering exceptional services to our clients in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quoting & Sales Support: Prepare proposals and quotes, ensuring correct pricing, discounting, and accounting for site conditions and logistics costs. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of quotes to clients.
  • Order Management: Process and track orders, updating project logs and ensuring correct acknowledgments. Communicate order statuses to sales and project managers, including estimated shipping dates and project timelines.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate delivery schedules, including booking loading docks, elevators, and site access. Ensure product availability and confirm shipping schedules with vendors.
  • Client & Post-Installation Support: Serve as the main point of contact for post-installation reviews, managing claims, deficiencies, and warranty requests. Handle follow-ups with clients to ensure their satisfaction, processing any adjustments or deficiencies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of project coordination experience, ideally within the furniture industry.
  • Strong administrative skills with a focus on organization and client interaction.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Furniture dealership experience is an asset but not required.
  • A business diploma or degree would be well-suited for this role.
