About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Silver Hills Bakery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities
    • Identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of machinery and equipment.
    • Repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fabricate and Install Equipment
    • Use machining tools to fabricate parts required for maintenance, repair, or installation of equipment.
    • Install new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment
    • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to move heavy loads.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints
    • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand equipment and machinery requirements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of machinery and equipment operation and maintenance.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
    • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and bending.
