Closing the Gap Healthcare is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home and community settings.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has experience in wound management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Treating and assessing pediatric patients in-school and in-homes
- Caring for client needs and managing wound care
- Reporting and coordinating with the HCCSS (LHIN)
- Creating reports and updates on clients
- Ordering supplies for patients
- Building relationships and rapport with clients
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the CNO
- Currently certified with Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C)
- Ability to commit to weekends and on-call
- Minimum of two years' community experience
