About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Sukhpreet Bal, Chartered Professional Accountant Inc. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights into our company's financial performance.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
