About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Westcor Thermal Inc. as a Thermal Protection Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the thermal integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and apply the appropriate insulation materials to meet project requirements.
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials to ensure a safe and energy-efficient building envelope.
  • Brush waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials to prevent moisture ingress.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement energy-saving solutions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
