Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst

Join the City of Toronto team as a Financial Planning Analyst and contribute to the development of the city's financial plans and budgets.

About the Role

The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the City's departments and agencies. This includes preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and developing financial models to support budgeting and financial planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support budgeting and financial planning decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and financial planning decisions
  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to City departments and agencies
  • Assist in the development of the City's financial plans and budgets
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
  • Considerable experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and financial modeling
  • Experience with enterprise-wide financial and capital budgeting systems such as SAP and Captor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
