About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team at Iron Horse Rentals Ltd. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Industrial Equipment: Safely operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security Checks: Conduct regular safety and security checks to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Moving and Storage: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
