Job Title: Handyman

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team at Heliwelders Canada Ltd. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office building and industrial facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
  • Facilities Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows and interior walls, and make adjustments to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Supervision and Communication: Supervise other workers, advertise vacancies, balance rent rolls, and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Physical Demands: Work in all weather conditions, lift heavy furniture and equipment, and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language: English
Work Environment:

Our office building and industrial facility are located in a busy area, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
