Job Summary

The Senior Claims Adjuster, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) role at CAA Club Group is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned claims professional to leverage their expertise in handling disputes on Ontario Accident Benefit files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company at LAT conferences/hearings and negotiate settlements in a professional and effective manner.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve the quality and performance of claims services, driving continuous improvement within the AB/ADR and Claims Department.
  • Proactively handle files with strong analysis, demonstrating exposure recognition and expertise in SABs.
  • Liaise with the AB department to ensure accurate reserving and disposition planning.
  • Champion change and continuous improvement within the organization, maintaining awareness of case law and industry trends.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring on technical and professional skills, while maintaining technical claims and jurisdictional expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, participating in special projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of AB claims experience with solid SABs knowledge and experience with all levels of filing handling.
  • Post-secondary education completed in a related field.
  • CIP/FCIP designation or working towards completion is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, effective negotiation, and strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional team player with the ability to operate independently, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule and participate in extended hours duties as required.
