About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a critical member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery in accordance with established procedures.
  • Operate dish machine and pot-washing areas with precision, adhering to chemical usage guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including mopping floors and completing assigned cleaning tasks.
  • Receive and process supplier deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods.
  • Collaborate with team members to address any issues or concerns, providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 minimum education required.
  • Smart Serve designation and one year of experience in dining room service.
  • Proven customer service skills and excellent command of verbal and written English language.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Safe Food Handling Certification.
