We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our caregiving team as a Home Support Worker at Johal Family Caregiver. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that requires a commitment of 32.5 hours per week.

About the Role

This role involves providing personalized care and support to our clients in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest level of dignity and comfort. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, assisting with bathing and hygiene, and preparing nutritious meals. You may also have the opportunity to engage in activities such as feeding, planning therapeutic diets, and providing companionship.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability. We require candidates who hold a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have experience working in a home care environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who possess a CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate will be given preference. Experience working with elderly individuals is an asset, as is proficiency in English language. We value applicants who can demonstrate a strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits
