Senior Advisor, Excellence in Case Management

The Nova Scotia Workers' Compensation Board is seeking a Senior Advisor to enhance consistent performance and behaviors of case workers. This role contributes to continuous quality improvement and enables service excellence through building competencies in applying legislation, policies, procedures, and practices in return-to-work management.
The Senior Advisor will introduce positive change by identifying areas for individual development, devising short and long-term goals, and supporting individuals to achieve or exceed performance standards through regular feedback and coaching conversations. Key responsibilities include developing individual coaching plans, monitoring the application of skills and behaviors, and providing timely feedback.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with at least 5 years' experience working in a case management environment and 3 years' experience working at a senior decision-making level. A minimum of 3 years' experience that included a coaching component focused on enhancing individual effectiveness is also required.
