Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to diagnose diseases, disorders, and conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including healthcare management and therapeutic interventions
- Prescribe medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with patients and other healthcare professionals to identify trends and patterns that impact patient care
- Develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Advanced education and training in nursing, including a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia
- Experience working in primary care settings, preferably in an Indigenous community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
