Accounting Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team in Oakville for a 12-month contract. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing cheque printing, reconciliations, month ends, and responding to client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle client inquiries and provide timely responses
  • Claim cheque printing and ensure accuracy
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end reporting and financial analysis
  • Upload files and notes to the ERP system
  • Provide customer support to B2B clients on account balances and invoice inquiries
  • Print, post, and collate refund and claim cheques
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (co-op experience considered)
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently
