KUBRA is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to enhance and validate the confidentiality, integrity, and security of our cloud systems and platforms. This role will be responsible for securing development processes and workflows within KUBRA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform security assessments of KUBRA systems, applications, and infrastructure, providing written reports and recommendations for management review.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, including DAST and SAST, and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain security tools with an emphasis on automation, using IaC technologies such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security and compliance of all KUBRA owned computing systems and applications.
  • Provide architectural security guidance to DevOps teams building cloud infrastructure in compliance with industry standards (PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS, OWASP) in public cloud environments.
  • Develop threat models and security reporting tools to support risk assessments and identify mitigations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles with a preference in engineering.
  • Experience working with public cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation languages, such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of industry standard regulations and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO, NIST, SANS, SOX, SOC II, HIPAA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in all client interactions.
