We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician to join our team at Alcina Automotive Services Inc. As a key member of our garage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient repair of mechanical units and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units to ensure proper functioning.
  • Review Work Orders: Analyze work orders to determine the necessary repairs and maintenance required.
  • Repair or Replace Mechanical Units: Perform repairs or replacements of mechanical units or components as needed.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Equipment: Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety.
  • Oversee Safety of Operations: Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Clean, Lubricate, and Perform Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of mechanical units and equipment.
  • Install Major Components: Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors, or hydraulic assemblies as required.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
