As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of contractors and the public while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in a dynamic airport environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the security requirements of escorting and monitoring contractors
  • Facilitate airside escorting requirements during construction season
  • Maintain equipment on site, including vehicles and radios
  • Drive in restricted areas
  • Communicate with the runway tower

Requirements
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Security experience or license not required
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Canada Security Clearance (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit prior to completing extensive training
  • Valid RAIC an asset
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Full class 5 driver's license required
  • Must provide a clean driver's abstract
  • Driving experience an asset
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • Over 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Available to work and commute any scheduled shifts in a 24/7 operation, including weekends and public holidays

  • Strong teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, remain calm, and alert while multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable undertaking training and operating in a rapidly changing, high-tech setting
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions
