About the Role

Action Locksmiths is seeking a skilled Door Frame Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing door frames in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Read Blueprints: Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
  • Assist in Framing: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs in accordance with architectural plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Quality Control: Check final assemblies for adherence to quality control standards and ensure all work meets company expectations.
  • Emergency and Safety Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Reciprocating Saws: Operate reciprocating saws to cut and trim materials.
  • Circular Saws: Operate circular saws to cut and trim materials.
  • Nail Guns: Operate nail guns to fasten materials.
  • Drills: Operate drills to drive screws and make holes.
  • Hand Tools: Use hand tools to perform various tasks.
  • Crowbar: Use a crowbar to pry and move materials.
Weight Handling
  • Weight Capacity: Lift and move materials weighing up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
