Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at J F S Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and finishing of concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Assist in the removal of rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a high level of manual dexterity.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a regular 40-hour workweek. The working language is English.
